For Home Cooking I chose recipes I love to cook and then from memory drew plans of the homes the recipes came from. The recipe above is for Spoon Bread and was handed down from my mother, who first cooked it when we lived in Kentucky in southern USA in the late 1960s. I was a small child then but I still have a clear memory of particular parts of the house we lived in at 108 Shady Lane, Lexington.
